The National Federation of the Blind of North Dakota is a statewide community of blind people, families, friends, and supporters working together to improve opportunities and independence for blind North Dakotans.

We believe blindness is not the characteristic that defines us or our future. By working together, we raise expectations and create opportunities for blind people throughout our state.

We welcome new members from anywhere in North Dakota.

Who Can Join?
 

Membership is open to:

• Blind individuals
• Parents of blind children
• Family members and friends
• Professionals in the blindness field
• Anyone who supports the mission of the National Federation of the Blind

You do not need to be blind to join.

Our Meetings
 

The National Federation of the Blind of North Dakota currently meets as a statewide affiliate rather than local chapters.

Our meetings typically include:

• discussion of issues affecting blind North Dakotans
• planning advocacy and outreach efforts
• sharing resources and technology
• building friendships with other blind people

We meet monthly unless otherwise stated.

Membership Dues
 

Membership dues help support the work of the National Federation of the Blind of North Dakota.

Annual membership dues are $5 per year.

• include your name so the dues can be credited to the correct member
• include a note indicating the payment is for membership dues
